Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDirector of Pediatric ServicesLocation: Oakland, CAHours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMCompensation: $300,000–$310,000 annuallyRole Summary:We are seeking a Director of Pediatric Services to build a high-performing, collaborative pediatric team serving a diverse patient population in Oakland, CA. This role blends hands-on clinical leadership with department management, ensuring safe, efficient, and culturally responsive care for children and their families.Key Focus Areas:Shape a positive, inclusive work culture that supports provider well-being and engagementGuide quality improvement projects and ensure adherence to regulatory and clinical standardsPartner with community organizations and stakeholders to better meet the needs of Black children and other underserved groupsOversee departmental budget, staffing plans, and service expansion opportunitiesSupport integration of pediatrics with other clinical disciplines and servicesRequirementsActive California medical license with no disciplinary historyBoard certification in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Medicine/PediatricsCurrent DEA and BLSAt least 7 years of ambulatory pediatric experience, including formal leadership responsibilitiesDemonstrated experience in community-based care and strong commitment to health equitySubmit your CV today!
