DescriptionJPMorgan Chase is seeking an Executive Director to lead the HR and Employee Experience (EX) data platform strategy within the HR-EX Data Products organization. This leader will define and deliver the next-generation HR data platformenabling secure self-service access high-quality data strong governance capabilities and scalable analytics.You will partner with HR-EX leadership Technology Workforce Data Platform Engineering Legal Privacy and Data Governance teams to deliver robust platform capabilities in entitlements catalog/metadata data quality lifecycle governance and usage analytics. This role is critical to modernizing HRs data ecosystem and empowering data product teams across the function.Job responsibilitiesLead the strategy roadmap and delivery of self-service well-governed HR data consumption patterns as next-generation replacements for legacy toolsDefine and implement a secure flexible HR data entitlements model in partnership with the Entitlements Governance Lead and Data Privacy teams ensuring simple self-service access strong auditability and reduced exception requestsOwn the roadmap for HR-EX data catalog metadata glossary and lineage capabilities enabling users to easily discover understand and trust available dataDeliver tooling and processes to support data classification data-concept tracking and metadata governance strengthening foundations for entitlements privacy and data quality operationsLead the selection implementation and integration of Business Data Quality (BDQ) tooling to automate validation monitoring remediation and continuous quality improvement across HR datasetsEstablish governance and lifecycle practices for managing different data types in the HR data lakeincluding data products temporary datasets ML/AI datasetswith well defined SOPs and standards for critical calculated fields and measure storesDeliver platform usage analytics and DUC (Data Usage Control) adherence reporting to help data product managers measure adoption value and compliant data usagePartner with HR leadership Workforce Data HR Technology Platform Engineering Legal Privacy and Controls to ensure platform capabilities align with firmwide governance standards compliance expectations and control requirementsRequired qualifications capabilities and skills8 years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products projects or technology applicationsExtensive knowledge of the product development life cycle technical design and data analyticsProven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery ideation strategic development requirements definition and value managementExperience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functionsProven success standing up a new data platform or delivering major improvements to an existing platform with ability to articulate platform objectives success outcomes and measurable impactDemonstrated experience taking an incremental sequenced approach to platform implementation while balancing needs across technical and non-technical users (e.g. analysts dashboard developers AI modelers data engineers)Strong understanding of modern vendor ecosystems and cloud platforms (Databricks vs. Snowflake vs. MS Fabric vs. native AWS) entitlement platforms (e.g. Immuta Privacera Unity Catalog) catalogs (Databricks UC Unity) AI tooling environments (e.g. Jupyter notebooks) and data quality systems (e.g. Ataccama DBT)Experience with data onboarding metadata management governance workflows and compliance requirements in complex enterprise environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement skills including ability to translate technical platform capabilities into clear business outcomesExperience working in control-heavy or compliance-driven environments with familiarity across multiple lines of defense or regulatory data requirementsPreferred qualifications capabilities and skillsRecognized thought leader within a related fieldRequired Experience:Director Key Skills Financial,AXA,Horticulture,Market Research,Chemistry Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
