This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As a Director Product Management youll lead a highly skilled group responsible for developing software and tools for a wide variety of supply chain processes. Youll drive the strategic direction and technical excellence while pioneering the integration of Generative AI technologies in software development. Your leadership will enable the design architecture and implementation of safety-critical real-time embedded software as part of Blue Origins Supply Chain.In this position you will:Lead and manage a team of product manager developing the supply chain solutionsDrive strategic direction for software development across various supply chain teamsChampion innovation in engineering tools and capabilities particularly in the application of Generative AI to software developmentLead design discussions for systems across multiple programsSet engineering standards for performance optimization scalability and portability across the software platformFoster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the teamDevelop engineering talent through recruitment mentoring and career development of senior professionalsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related fieldAt least 10 years of experience in low-level and embedded software developmentMinimum 5 years of engineering management experience leading technical teamsProven track record managing teams of senior embedded software engineersPreferred Qualifications:Background in AI/ML tool development or deployment in engineering workflowsExperience with supply chain software and productsThis role offers an exciting chance to shape the future of avionics platform software and contribute to real-time embedded applications for spaceflight.
