Director of Respiratory Therapy at Clinical Magnet

Clinical Magnet, a division of ICON Medical Network, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Respiratory Therapy to lead and innovate within our partner's respiratory care services near Allentown, PA. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of respiratory therapy programs, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of a large respiratory therapy team, develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to ensure exceptional patient care while also ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Prepare, manage, and adhere to departmental budgets and oversee resource allocation and equipment purchasing.
• Act as a liaison between the respiratory department, physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate respiratory therapists and support staff.

Key Requirements:

• Current, active, unencumbered Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) licensure from an accredited agency (NBRC)
• Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or Healthcare Administration
• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Supervisory or Lead experience in a respiratory therapy setting
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Compensation and Schedule:

• Salary begins at $93,000 per year but can be significantly more based on years of experience
