A community-focused healthcare organization is seeking a Director of Ancillary & Support Services to lead multiple clinical and support departments while partnering with executive leadership to advance quality care, operational performance, and program growth in a mission-driven environment.

Position Highlights

✔️ Executive leadership role overseeing multiple ancillary and support service lines

✔️ Direct oversight of Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging, Therapy Services & other

✔️ Lead and mentor department managers while driving operational excellence

✔️ Opportunity to support service line development and program expansion

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned ancillary and support service departments
• Partner with executive leadership and physician leaders to identify opportunities for service line expansion and program development
• Lead business planning, operational forecasting, and performance monitoring across departments
• Develop and support department managers to ensure strong leadership, staffing stability, and high team engagement
• Maintain regulatory compliance, quality standards, and accreditation readiness across all service areas
• Foster collaboration across departments and maintain strong relationships with providers, caregivers, and leadership teams
• Utilize data, performance metrics, and outcomes to guide decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives

Ideal Background

✔️ Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or MHA preferred

✔️ 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience with multi-department oversight

✔️ Clinical background in Diagnostic Imaging or Laboratory services strongly preferred

✔️ Experience leading ancillary departments within a hospital or health system

✔️ Strong operational, financial, and strategic planning skills

✔️ Ability to lead through change and operate effectively in a fast-paced, community-centered healthcare environment
