JOB DESCRIPTION

Salary Range: $98,000 to $135,000 depending on experience
Plus annual incentive-based bonus

Are you a leader who thrives on building strong teams and elevating resident care? Judson Park is seeking a Director of Wellness to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Support teams while supporting Independent Living residents.

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll shape the culture of care, introduce innovative services and therapies, and ensure residents receive exceptional support every day. You'll also support Independent Living residents through health check-ins, coordination of home health services and immunization clinics, and by expanding access to a wide range of wellness offerings that enhance overall quality of life.

Under limited supervision, the Director of Wellness identifies and monitors needs of residents primarily in Assisted Living and Memory Support departments coordinating with the Wellness Department, Health Center, and Resident Review Committee, while maintaining both departments in regulatory compliance by providing administrative oversight of staff.

A day in the life might include:

  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities either directly or through subordinate managers in accordance with policies and applicable laws.
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Assisting with the marketing of the accommodations and services to prospective residents and families and developing and implementing activities and support programs.
  • Conducting routine rounds of the community, and participating in initial and ongoing resident assessments to help identify needs and changes in conditions.
  • Assisting in the development of the Resident Services Plan, participating in regular resident and family meetings, and helping conduct new hire training and monthly in-service training.

To be successful in this role, you would have:

  • At least 2-3 years of supervisory experience required
  • Prior related experience in senior living required
  • Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for Washington State preferred
  • Current CPR certified
  • Bachelors degree preferred
