If you have a strategic mindset, a knack for solving problems on the fly, and a passion for operational excellence, we’d love to have you on our growing team.As our Director of Operations, you’ll oversee a portfolio of properties, ensuring each meets performance goals, aligns with our brand standards, and delivers a top-tier resident and employee experience. You’ll lead and develop property-level teams, implement best practices, and collaborate across departments to optimize day-to-day operations.Job ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentGuide and support regional property managers, and property teams to achieve operational, financial, and resident satisfaction goals.Coach and mentor corporate and on-site managers, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with LV Collective’s culture and values.Set clear expectations, regularly review team and property performance, and provide feedback and recognition.Operational OversightMonitor and improve leasing performance, resident retention, expense control, and maintenance/service delivery across your portfolio.Partner with asset management to develop and manage operating budgets, ensuring properties meet or exceed financial goals.Ensure properties consistently uphold LV Collective’s standards for condition, curb appeal, and resident experience.Serve as the main liaison between property teams and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, challenges, and initiatives.Work with other departments, such as marketing, asset management, and development, to execute company initiatives and support new projects.Process & PerformanceOptimize operations by building and refining operational “playbook” for greater efficiency, stronger resident experience, and improved financial performance.Oversee adherence to brand, regulatory, and safety standards across the portfolioprovide insight and guidance on potential new investment and/or divestment opportunities, such as acquisitions and dispositions, ground-up development projects, joint venture partnerships, third-party management agreements, etc.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of progressive experience in student housing operations, with a proven record of success managing multi-site teams, budgets, and performance outcomes.Demonstrated leadership in developing and mentoring teams, fostering accountability, and driving operational excellence.Strong financial and analytical acumen, with expertise in budget creation, forecasting, and expense management.Skilled in vendor and third-party partner management, ensuring service quality, compliance, and value optimization.Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.Clear, confident communicator adept at collaborating across departments and presenting to senior leadership.Significant experience working in Entrata.
