Envisionit is looking for a hunter and a builder of a small but mighty growth engine.Were searching for a Business Development Director who loves opening doors shaping solutions and winning the kind of client relationships that fuel real measurable this role youll be a strategic business development lead focused on net-new revenue across our three core verticals of focus: tourism consumer services and tech.Youll own the new-business pipeline and lead a small revenue team consisting of BDR roles and sales enablement that brings together outbound inbound and marketing programs into one high performing growth engine.The OpportunityOwn net-new revenue growth for tourism/DMO consumer services and tech prospects from initial outreach through signed SOW while managing a small growth team (Business Development Representative and Marketing Director).Set clear team goals and KPIs aligned to pipeline and revenue targets including qualified meetings win rates and sales velocity.Proactively hunt and build your own robust pipeline using outbound networking partnerships events and inbound leads directing BDR activities toward high-priority targets.Align sales and marketing by partnering with the Marketing Director building sales enablement assets defining lead handoff SLAs and running regular performance syncs.Lead strategic discovery conversations with C-level and senior marketing decision-makers to uncover business objectives and challenges.Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions and programs that align with prospect needs objectives and budgets.Orchestrate the pitch process including story shaping deck development team preparation timeline management and ensuring strong presentations.Drive proposal and SOW development maintain an accurate CRM pipeline gather market intelligence to inform go-to-market strategy and ensure a seamless handoff from sales to onboarding.What Youll Bring7 years in business development sales or growth roles within a digital media or integrated agency.Proven hunter track record: consistent success opening new logos and closing multi-channel or multi-service engagements.Proven track record for winning competitive RFPs in relevant categories with strong storytelling & presentation abilities.People leadership experience including managing new-business teams and partnering closely with (or directly managing) marketing resources focused on demand gen and sales enablement.Strong understanding of integrated digital marketing (paid media search social content web analytics and measurement) and how these pieces ladder up to business outcomes.Demonstrated success aligning sales and marketingcreating shared funnel metrics driving follow-up discipline and using campaigns and content to accelerate interest in the agencys solutions.Experience in solutioning with cross functional teamsyou dont have to be a practitioner but you can translate prospect needs into thoughtful program recommendations and know when to pull in the right experts.Discipline around pipeline management follow-through and documentationyoure as strong on the process as you are in the pitch.Perks Salary & BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $120000 - 135000 USD performance-based variable plan with on-target earnings between $185000$225000 uncapped for overachievement.
