We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.Job SummarySummaryResponsible for overseeing the planning implementation and evaluation of workforce development programs and initiatives with specific focus on external community jobseekers in areas of high talent needs in allied health professions. This role will oversee a team of WFD staff members working on programs and partnerships including high schools community colleges community-based organizations and training programs with a focus on program completions and hires. This role will require some travel within the Greater Boston area for meetings and events onsite at MGB facilities or community partners. Essential Functions-Develop and execute a strategic workforce development plan aligned with organizational goals and healthcare industry trends. -Collaborate with stakeholders to identify current and future workforce needs and align development initiatives with organizational objectives. -Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in healthcare workforce development. -Conduct learning needs assessments to identify knowledge and skills gaps among healthcare personnel. -Collaborate with subject matter experts department heads and HR teams to gather input and prioritize learning needs. -Analyze data and feedback to determine appropriate training and development interventions.QualificationsEducationBachelors Degree Human Resources Management or Related Field of Study requiredMasters Degree Related Field of Study preferredExperienceExperience in workforce development training and development or a related role within the healthcare or education sector. 5-7 years requiredKnowledge Skills and Abilities- Proven experience in designing and implementing workforce development programs including needs assessment program design and evaluation.- Strong knowledge of workforce development principles adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.- Familiarity with healthcare industry dynamics regulatory requirements and quality standards.- Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan organize and coordinate multiple initiatives.- Effective leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Remote TypeHybridWork Location399 Revolution DriveScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftDay (United States of America)Pay Range$97510.40 - $141804.00/AnnualGrade8At Mass General Brigham we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
