Belmont Village Glenview - Now Hiring Full-Time Dishwasher!Schedule: Monday-Friday 11:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Dishwasher at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be the heart of our dining service program! The Dishwasher is responsible for all sanitation and cleaning of the kitchen and for ensuring that all food preparation equipment, dishes and utensils are clean, sanitized and safely and efficiently stored and ready for use. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy. They excel in a fast-paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliancesEnsure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standardsAssist cooks with non0food preparation tasks as neededMaintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environmentAssist with stocking following food deliveriesMake hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interactionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMust be at least 17 years of ageProfessional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishDemonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignmentsExperience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operationsAbility to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as neededConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityAll offers of employment are conditional based on the successful completion of a State and Federal criminal background check, drug screen, job related physical and TB test. Please note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
