Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available at a K-12 public school located in Gilbert, AZ. This contract role will run from the immediate start date through the end of the current school year. The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 20 students in co-teach and resource settings, primarily focusing on Math or English classes.Key Responsibilities:Provide specialized instruction and support to students with special education needs in co-teach and resource classrooms.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student requirements.Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and instruction for inclusion.Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.Communicate regularly with parents and school staff regarding student development.Qualifications and Experience:Valid Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Teaching Certification in Special Education.AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students effectively.Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.Schedule:Full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week with start and end times from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.Part-time applicants will be considered.Location:Position is based at a junior high school campus in Gilbert, Arizona.This role presents a rewarding opportunity to impact student success through direct instruction and collaborative practices in a supportive school environment.
