If you have experience in dispatching scheduling or logisticsand a passion for keeping things movingwe want to hear from you!You will play a key role in coordinating daily concrete deliveries to customers across the region. By efficiently scheduling mixer trucks maintaining timely communication with plants and drivers and ensuring accurate order fulfillment you will help meet and exceed customer expectations. This position operates in a high-volume fast-paced environment where attention to detail proactive communication and strong problem-solving skills are essential to success.What you will be doing Schedule and dispatch mixer trucks to job sites optimizing routes loads and plant utilizationMaintain ongoing communication with drivers to track delivery progress truck status and changing jobsite conditionsAdjust same-day schedules to account for order changes delays equipment issues and weather impactsCoordinate closely with plant teams to align production load timing and material availabilityServe as the primary contact for customers to place orders request updates and adjust delivery schedulesEnter and update orders in Command / Dispatch confirming mix designs quantities time windows and site access detailsProactively communicate with customers about potential delays plant changes or delivery constraintsDevelop strong contractor relationships by resolving jobsite issues and ensuring consistent reliable serviceUse Command / Dispatch software to manage orders allocate trucks and monitor real-time delivery activityTrack and document daily metrics such as truck utilization return-to-plant exceptions washout times and delaysVerify accuracy of batch tickets delivery logs and driver instructionsSupport next-day production planning by reviewing upcoming orders and communicating projected loads to plantsEnsure drivers follow DOT company and site-specific safety procedures at all timesMonitor driver hours-of-service and availability to maintain compliance and prevent violationsEscalate safety concerns near misses and jobsite issues promptly to managementWhat we would like from you Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and dispatching softwareStrong multitasking and decision-making skills with experience working in a fast-paced dynamic environmentExcellent communication skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships across all levels internally and externallySolid knowledge of local geography and construction jobsite logisticsHigh attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues quicklyCustomer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skillsExperience in ready-mix construction transportation or logistics is considered an asset; prior dispatch or fleet management experience is strongly preferredProficiency with Command / Dispatch or similar system is considered an assetFluent in English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in both languagesLocation and other key details: This position will be located at our Irving Texas officeAbility to work early mornings occasional Saturdays and overtime as neededWhy BURNCO Be part of a supportive high-performing team that values your growth and successEnjoy competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package paid time off and moreExperience our inclusive collaborative and safety-focused cultureTake part in team events professional development activities and community initiativesJoin us and be part of an organization that values safety above all.
