DescriptionThe Dispatcher receives assistance requests from clients and customers and assigns individuals and teams to respond to those requests.Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderNo high school diploma GED or college degree required.2 years of dispatching experience preferred in a mechanical/HVAC contractor settingPay: $65000. $80000The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicants education experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data. For information about ABMs benefits visit ABM Team Member Benefits Staff & ManagementResponsibilities:Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients co-workers shift coordinators supervisors managers etc.Schedule and dispatch resources which may be team members crews/teams equipment or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests specifications or needs using radios telephones and/or computers; determines types or amounts of equipment vehicles materials or personnel required according to work orders or client requirementsEnsure timely and efficient movement of resources according to work orders and/or resource schedulesOversee all communications within specifically assigned area(s)Receive or prepare work orders and work schedulesRecord and maintain files and records of customer requests work or services performed inventory and other dispatch informationRecognize and mitigate a variety of issues encountered within the department and other work environmentsConfer with clients and/or supervising personnel in order to address questions problems and requests for resourcesMonitor resources and utilization in order to coordinate services and schedules to achieve optimal efficiency;Compile statistics and reports on work progress.Monitor daily services and provide updates and reportsComply with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company Clients and regulatory authorities.
