Leadership is accessible, decision-making is fast, and everyone is invested in the company's success.The OpportunityThe Division Sales Manager will lead a high-performing B2B sales team across the Charlotte region, covering a territory from Kerrsville to Rock Hill, stretching east to mid-NC and west to the mountains (excluding Asheville). You'll manage and mentor 6–10 field sales reps, helping them exceed performance goals while building deep customer relationships and driving sustainable growth.This is a strategic, high-ownership role ideal for a seasoned sales leader with packaging, freight, or industrial sales experience who thrives in a fast-paced, team-first environment.What You'll DoSales Strategy & ExecutionRecommend and execute annual sales forecasts, budgets, and plansMonitor and revise forecasts as needed to meet market demandsLead contract negotiations and pricing strategy in collaboration with corporateReview Gross Profit Reports, MITS, and Monthly Sales Reports for continuous optimizationTeam Leadership & CoachingManage 6–10 direct reports in field salesConduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviewsRide along with reps 2–3 days per week, with special focus on onboarding new repsMotivate, coach, and counsel to improve sales performancePresent quarterly sales team assessments to executive leadershipPipeline Management & CRM OwnershipEnsure accurate, qualified pipeline activity in PipedriveOversee CRM adoption and data quality across teamUtilize HubSpot as needed for campaign follow-ups and customer engagementCustomer & Market FocusMaintain personal relationships with key accountsBuild customer-centric strategies that lead to innovation and retentionStay current on packaging and automation trends, market shifts, and competitor movementsCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with operations, logistics, and purchasing to align on pricing, delivery, and service qualityEnsure all activities are aligned with corporate sales and service goalsYou'd Be a Great Fit If You Have:10+ years of B2B sales experience in packaging, freight, or industrial sectors2+ years leading sales teams in a quota-driven environmentCRM fluency (Pipedrive required; HubSpot experience a plus)Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage forecasts, pricing, and performance metricsPrior experience in long, complex B2B sales cyclesAbility to lead by example with humility, integrity, and accountabilityStrong interpersonal skills and a passion for developing othersBonus Points For:Experience with packaging automation or industrial supply chain salesBackground in companies like Supply One, Piedmont National, or Atlantic PackagingMilitary experience, especially if you've successfully transitioned into B2B leadershipExperience at mid-size companies (100–500 employees) with complex sales cyclesWhy Join UsLead a team in a fast-growth, high-impact environmentCollaborate directly with executive leadership in a flat orgTake ownership of your region's performance and growth trajectoryJoin a culture that values humility, initiative, and personal growthBe part of a purpose-driven team that celebrates wins and invests in its peopleMilSpec Talent is a boutique headhunting firm that helps our clients get connected with top talent in the industry.
