Job DescriptionJFirestopper Job DescriptionJob Role:Installing firestop systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke within buildingsIdentifying and addressing potential fire hazards in structuresApplying fire-resistant materials to seal openings and penetrationsEnsuring adherence to fire safety regulations and industry standardsMeasuring and cutting fire-resistant materials to fit specific spacesInstalling and maintaining firestop systems to meet safety requirementsParticipating in fire safety training and staying informed about industry advancementsRequirements:Experience in firestopping or a related fieldAbility to work with various firestopping tools and materialsAttention to detail for precise installation of fire-resistant barriersAdherence to safety procedures and protocols Must be able to perform daily duties and be dependable.Responsibilities Work with the Foreman in completing jobs on time and under budget. May be asked to work on other crews.
