DMV Clerk
Join our dynamic team as an Internal Operations Specialist, where you will be an integral part of a specific team focusing on titling & registration, storage, or maintenance. You will play a crucial role in advancing order flow, providing solutions to customer inquiries, and removing any obstacles in the order process. Your responsibilities will include gathering data, communicating with customers and vendors, establishing strong relationships, conducting quality checks, and managing vehicle conditions and repairs. This role functions during core business hours and offers the flexibility of remote work under the Telecommuting Agreement.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage direct communication with customers and their clients.
- Organize and manage details of each request to ensure full understanding of customer requirements.
- Address questions and offer solutions using sound judgment to resolve issues and enhance customer experience.
- Monitor and manage team dashboard to complete tasks and keep orders moving.
- Participate in all order phases to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate transportation, registration, and repair issues with customers.
- Organize daily activities using provided tools and respond to emails within 4 hours.
- Provide exceptional customer service by developing professional relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors.
- Accurately complete assignments necessary to advance daily business needs.
- Demonstrate ability to perform departmental activities and assist as needed.
- Conform and abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures.
- Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
- Provide special project support to all departments.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a dealership.
- Strong Microsoft Office Excel and data entry skills (minimum typing speed of 37 WPM).
- Excellent communication skills in both writing and speaking.
- Attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Customer service oriented; call center experience is a plus.
- Experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation management, and data entry.
Work Environment
Work in a fully on-site cubicle environment at our headquarters. This position requires a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
