Job Details J & M Plating Inc - Rockford IL Full Time High School $17.23 - $17.48 Hourly Negligible Any WarehouseDescription ROLE SUMMARY:The Materials Handler will stage and transport materials supplies and finished products to the designated locations according to the requirements.RESPONSIBILITIES:Receives distributes and stores products as directed in designated locations.Loads and unloads carrier LTL and customer trucksPrepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions locations and other pertinent information.Labels incoming partsReviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.Validates signs and forwards bill of landings invoices and other documentation to the accounting department.Respond to supervisor requests as neededFollow safety standards and rulesThe employer may require an employee to perform other duties as assigned on a temporary and infrequent basisQualifications REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Good math and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Efficient time management skills.Able to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to create and maintain cooperative team building relationships.Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma or equivalent and/or up to six months of related experienceForklift license or the capacity to obtain such licenseExperience working in a fast-paced environmentExperience working in a manufacturing company preferredComputer experience is a plusFor more detailed information about our pay benefits and career opportunities for this role please visit Key Skills Load & Unload,Shipping & Receiving,Mac Os,Forklift,Freight Experience,Lift Truck Experience,Basic Math,Tanker Experience,Warehouse Experience,Commercial Driving,Driving,Heavy Lifting Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Hourly Salary Salary: 17 - 17
