Its mission is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Maintain and clean up the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shiftAppear neatly and cleanly dressed in suitable clothing as per The Salvation Army dress code policyCourteously assist the donor in the receipt of donated items from the donor and provide receiptMaintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by SupervisorSeparate and sort all donated material into the proper containers, and properly stack material as instructed by the SupervisorAssist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations on to trucks as necessaryInform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (i.e.: brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.)Must secure and lock Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shiftMust be have flexible availability for scheduling purposesOther duties and responsibilities as may be assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High School graduate or equivalentAbility to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donorsAbility to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructionsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistanceAbility to perform various repetitive motion tasks
