Job no: 552001Work type: StaffLocation: San JoséCategories: Unit 9 - CSUEU - Technical Support Services, Probationary, Fundraising & Alumni Relations, Full Time Job SummaryThe Donor Relations and Stewardship Analyst plays an integral role in supporting the university's stewardship initiatives, contributing to the meaningful recognition and retention of our donors and supporters. This position supports the cultivation and stewardship of long-term relationships with donors through the execution of key administrative and communication tasks, including gift acknowledgment and donor recognition. This role will focus on implementing strategies to build donor affinity, ensuring that our offerings align with the goals of SJSU’s University Advancement division, the Tower Foundation, and our donors. The analyst will assist in maintaining and growing the donor acknowledgment program to ensure it remains relevant to our constituency. The position also includes significant administrative support and customer service responsibilities, serving as the first point of contact for the Donor Relations and Stewardship Office. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation and completion of the annual Endowment Impact Report and annual Scholarship Impact ReportAssist in the creation and management of campaign and ad hoc stewardship reports and donor communicationsHelp draft content for donor communications, including thank-you letters, gift acknowledgements, digital stewardship, emails, briefings, and recognition materials, based on existing templates. Ensure all templates and materials are up-to-date, accurate, and consistent with university and campaign brand templates.Support project leads, partners, or vendors with content research, videography logistics, graphic and digital content creationCollect and organize content that highlights philanthropic engagement across campus.
