For additional information about our company visit our website at POSITION SCOPEThe Dozer Operator will be responsible for operating a D8/D9 dozer to efficiently and effectively construct embankment and fill areas on a project. This position may include day or night shift work travel overtime and weekend work. PRIMARY DUTIES Safe and efficient operation of D8 and D9 dozers to meet production targetsConduct pre-trip/post-trip walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activitiesMaintain heavy equipment in good operating condition reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concernsComplete production reporting and other documentation as requiredCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team membersSafety Safety Safety comply with all OSHA and company policies procedures and standards of safetyPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS5 years of earth moving experienceValid Drivers License Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fishers Company Vehicle Program policy OSHA certification or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certificationExcellent communication skillsThe ability to follow and enforce safe work practicesSelf-directed and can work independently with minimal supervisionExtended out-of-town travel night shift and/or weekend work may be required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
