Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDRAFTSMAN Kennerdell, PA$45k-$60k - Competitive Benefit Package - Health/Medical Ins/PTO, 401kFull-Time- On-SiteOverview:Client is seeking an experienced Draftsman to create accurate, fabrication-ready drawings for pressure vessels and aboveground storage tanks. This role works closely with engineers and fabrication teams and requires a capable professional who can manage drafting tasks efficiently and confidently.Key Responsibilities:Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for pressure vessels and tanks using AutoCAD and Inventor.Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings in compliance with ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA codes.Review and verify drawings for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.Incorporate design changes and clarifications from engineers as required.Support fabrication and field teams with drawing guidance as needed.Interface with shop and field managers to resolve drawing issues.Required Qualifications:5+ years of drafting experience in pressure vessel, tank, or heavy industrial fabrication.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor; 3D CAD modeling experience preferred.Solid understanding of ASME, API, AWWA, and NFPA standards as applied to drafting.Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance.Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Preferred Attributes:Familiarity with fabrication processes, materials, and shop operations.Experience preparing drawings for field assembly and installation.Local or regional familiarity, or willingness to relocate long-term.Additional Notes:This is an important technical role for a candidate who is confident, organized, and effective in managing their work while collaborating with engineers and fabrication teams.If you meet the above qualifications and would like to apply for this position, please click APPLY NOW and upload your most current resume or you may email your resume to our recruiter, Christine Hannon at Please include DRAFTER on the subject line of any e-mail correspondence.
