DescriptionDSHS HCLA AAA Unit ManagerThe State Unit on Aging (SUA) within the Home and Community Living Administration (HCLA) of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) has an immediate opening for an Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Unit this role you will supervise and manage a team of up to eight program managers while providing oversight on programs and functions across thirteen area agencies on aging. The main objective of this opportunity is to ensure quality services are being provided and that continuous improvement is at the forefront of our work.The role offers telework with occasional travel and in-office meetings held in Lacey WA.Some of what you will do:Provide supervision for Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Program Managers/AdministratorDesign Unit work plan to identify goals strategies and timelines to carry out agency objectivesDraft management bulletinsProvide instructions and tools to Program ManagersManage multiple contracts with multi-million dollar budgetsFacilitate AAA workgroup meetings to meet strategic goals and objectivesDevelop and maintain policy procedures and regulations affecting AAA operationsWork with Program Manager staff to develop quality assurance mechanismsGuide review and provide feedback on program developmentAnalyze and determine the monitoring program targets and scheduleAnalyze data trends between fiscal yearsWho Should Apply:Bachelors degree in social work health or social science public administration related field or year for year equivalent experience for education requirement.
