Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD)Regular Salary: $20.06 per hour Mon-Fri and $21.06 per hour (shifts beginning 11PM Friday to 11PM on Sunday). We are looking for dedicated caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.Whats the role of a Direct Support Professional/Overnight Residential Counselor (DSP)Residential Counselor is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health safety and welfare of the people living in the group home.You will assist and/or supervise individuals in personal care areas i.e. bathing/toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning cooking and life skills.Administer and/or assist with medication administration.You must communicate effectively with supervisors co-workers and the individuals living in the homes.Drive residents to/from day programs outside/within their community using agency vehicles.This position requires daily documentation of services provided.Assist with fun community based activitiesGreat Benefits: For full time positions (30 per week) we offer:We provide PAID trainingMedical/vision and dentalLife insurance (agency-paid) supplemental life insurance (employee-paid)Flexible spending accountsAccidental/Critical Illness Insurance403B (with company-matching)Generous paid time offJob Requirements:Be motivated to work as part of a team that acts in the best interest of our residents at all timesExperience with ID/DD population is a plusThis career requires HS diploma or equivalentA valid (non-provisional) drivers licenseThe ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and our emergency evacuation procedures.Full Time-Shift: 36 hours per week (Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday 11pm-8am)All offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion/passing of our criminal background/references/DMV check fingerprinting pre-employment physical and drug test etc.All staff must attend a monthly Staff Meeting date/time to be determined and announced in advanceMeeting waivers are provided for conflicts due to secondary employment and/or school (appropriate documentation required).Required Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Children Activity,Acquisition,Data Entry,Commissioning,Administration Office,Arbitration Employment Type : Hourly Experience: years Vacancy: 1
