You must be currently listed in the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry as a DD-Aide. You must maintain this certification and all necessary re-trainings to remain eligible for this position post-hire. You will provide hands-on guidance for Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and the many individuals who call Rimland home. Some of your responsibilities include:Support the wellbeing of the individuals within Rimlands programsMonitor document and provide feedback on client goals to support the QIDP DepartmentVisit potential new clients to assess their potential fit within the Rimland communityAssist with new client orientation by organizing move-in transitions such as procuring bedding clothing and hygiene suppliesProcure funding for client outings as neededEnsure CILAs are up to Rimlands safety and care standardsPerform random and overnight inspectionsConduct monthly evacuation drillsOrder food as neededProvide training and guidance for DSPsConduct DSP trainings such as OJT trainingEvaluate DSPs per Rimlands Merit Based Pay StandardsOther duties as assignedLocation & ScheduleLocation: Des PlainesSchedule: This schedule changes on a quarterly basis.
