JOB DESCRIPTION

E-commerce Shipping Associate

Kelly Services is seeking an experienced E-commerce Shipping Associate for a local water technology company located in Kissimmee, FL 34758.

Pay: $22/hour Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm (Some Saturdays) Temp to hire

Summary: Responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient preparation and shipment of outbound orders. This role supports daily shipping operations by verifying order details, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. The Shipping Associate also contributes to inventory accuracy and warehouse organization to help maintain smooth operational flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Order Fulfillment
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment following company procedures.
  • Load and unload trucks with assigned products safely and efficiently.
  • Verify item counts, product descriptions, and order accuracy against packing lists and shipping documents DO/BOL.
  • Apply shipping labels, UPCs, or other identifying information to products in accordance with requirements.
  • Proactively resolve discrepancies in counts, labels, or product identification before shipment.
  • Coordinate with carriers UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight, etc. to ensure proper shipment handling and timely pickups.
  • Documentation Recordkeeping
  • Prepare, review, and file shipping documents such as delivery orders DO, bills of lading BOL, and packing lists.
  • Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments in compliance with company policies.
  • Support audits and reporting by providing detailed and accurate shipment documentation.
  • Inventory Warehouse Organization
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing products on racks and updating records by location.
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory checks, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Keep warehouse areas including shelves, pallet racks, and workstations clean, safe, and organized.
  • Follow company safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment handling.
  • Collaboration Communication Work closely with warehouse, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure smooth shipping operations.
  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding shipment delays, damages, or issues.

Qualifications Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping software UPS, FedEx, or ERP/WMS systems a plus. Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve errors quickly. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and computer skills Excel, Word, data entry.
  • Experience working with Amazon FBA procedure/ E-commerce

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment temperature variations, noise, etc.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time position; schedule may include overtime, weekends, or holidays based on shipping volume.
  • Warehouse-based role with occasional interaction with carriers and delivery personnel.
