Once these expire the candidate must be able to present another valid form of work authorization.Summer Internship ProgramWTWs Summer Internship Program serves as the primary pipeline into our full-timeGraduate Development Program (GDP)and is designed for university-level students primarily one year away from achieving their bachelors degree.The Summer Internship Program is an 8-week learning experience designed for students to gain an understanding of the ever-evolving risk internship provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with world-class clients and colleagues in the insurance programprovides the opportunity for internsto work alongside senior leadership and add value to client-facing exposures from accounts in the Fortune 500 sector to small local business areas. The internship program aims to create a collaborative community that contributes to our business through various projects speaker series structured training case studies networking events and more. The program iscomprisedof a structured orientation goal setting mentorship I&D initiatives group presentations and a formal performance review process.ART Placement OverviewThe Alternative Risk Transfer practice creates one-of-a-kind risk transfer solutions that address the needs of our large and sophisticated clients. These tailor-made risk financing solutions are a key response to some of the limitations of traditional insurance markets which can includeAccessing additional or complimentary capacityCreating certainty of cost and coverage over a multiyear termFacilitating risk financing while protecting the P&L / Balance SheetCreating solutions when the traditional market is unavailable or deemed inefficientRange of activity: parametric insurance multi-year monoline or multiline structured programs multiline captive stop loss programs and loss portfolio transfers.Our staff have deep Alternative Risk expertise and provide a range of services from product/market education analytically driven program evaluation through to cradle-to-grave program placement. While our placements may be thematically similar no two placements are the same. That said common tasks may include preparing presentation and marketing materials client and risk research submission creation using Broking Platform liaising with markets analyzing exposures using Willis proprietary modelling tools negotiating quotations quote evaluation and providing advice to clientsResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Work alongside colleagues of all levels and learn from WTW Senior leadership from the global scopeAssist in the creation harmonization and distribution of sales and marketing collateral.Support the development and implementation of ART strategies and productsPrepare input materials and run our proprietary tools to facilitate program design.Analyze Multiple forms of data using WTW tools and ExcelRecord and maintain all information accurately on the appropriate systems including initial introduction to and utilization of Broking Platform.Develop soft and hard skills through work alongside colleagues of all levelsQualificationsEducation and Qualifications:Enrolled in a bachelors degree program with a target graduation date of May 2028Working towards a Business Risk Management or Finance or similar analytical degree Eligible candidates must be going into their Senior year in Fall 2027Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higherExceptional interpersonal skillsExcellent written & verbal communication skillsExcellent presentation skills analytically driven and detail orientedAptitude to learn and be proactiveProficient in time managementIntermediate to proficient Microsoft Excel user; Power BI experience is a plusAble to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorshipWTWs hybrid working environment allows for flexible working schedules with a mixture of both remote and in officetimeincluding global collaboration across teams. During the internship most colleagues are expected to go into the office 3 times a week Compensation and BenefitsBase salary range and benefits information for this position arebeing includedin accordance withrequirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications qualifications/experience performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).Compensation:The hourly ratebeing offeredfor this role is $30hr $34hr USD.
