Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryA Million Dreamz is changing the face of child care right here in Sheboygan!Our mission at A Million Dreamz is to offer quality, affordable child care 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, in an all-inclusive and kind environment while providing resources, referrals, advocacy, and other services to encourage and support the continuing development of healthy families.Program Support team members are an integral part of A Million Dreamz mission to change the face of childcare. This role is designed to help the center run smoothly and decrease the daily stressors of the staff by identifying and helping with the needs of the program.DutiesWork directly with and taking direction from the Center Director, teaching staff, kitchen staff and Executive Director.Support Teachers with activities and care of students.Keep classrooms stocked with supplies (diapers, paper towels, cleaning supplies, etc.)Deliver meals and snacks to classrooms.Help teachers serve and feed students.Help do dishes after meals and snack times.Help clean, sanitize, disinfect and organize classrooms.Wash, dry, fold and put away laundry.Assist in keeping the center clean and tidy.Organize teacher supply areas.Assist with teacher prep and office needs.RequirementsMust meet DCF 251 qualifications to be ratio qualified.Current CPR, first aid, AHT, SIDS and Mandated Reporter certifications.Able to spend long hours standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting 40 pounds.Able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.Pass a background check.Possess an appropriate code of ethics for working with young children.Interpersonal skills with children and adults alike.Basic understanding of technology used and the aptitude to learn new technology skills.An interest in the childcare industry.In alliance with to DCF 251 employees of group child care facilities must be “Fit and qualified”. “Fit and qualified” means displaying the capacity to successfully nurture and care for children and may include consideration of any of the following: (a) Abuse of alcohol or drugs. (b) A history of a civil or criminal conviction or administrative rule violation that is substantially related to the care of children, as determined under s. DCF 13.05.
