If you are enthusiastic, dedicated, and committed to shaping the future of early education, we want to hear from you!What You’ll DoInspire and Educate: Provide a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for infants through pre-kindergarten children.Foster Growth: Implement interactive lesson plans that promote problem-solving, social-emotional skills, and early childhood development.Ensure Safety & Well-being: Supervise, guide, and care for children’s daily needs, including diapering, toileting, and hygiene routines while maintaining a clean and safe learning space.Build Relationships: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators through in-person, written, and digital methods to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.Support colleagues: Assist in different classrooms, in addition to the one you're primarily assigned to. This may include subbing in other classrooms, and aiding with breaks.Promote Inclusivity: Uphold a diverse and inclusive classroom that supports the cognitive, emotional, and physical development of all children.Maintain Standards: Adhere to all Community Care Licensing regulations and uphold best practices in early childhood education.What You BringEducation: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or completion of 12 ECE core units, specifically including 3 ECE Infant and Toddler Development and Care units.Experience: 1 year of teaching/childcare experience in a licensed childcare center.Certifications: Child Development Associate Certification.Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, organized classroom management techniques, patience and passion for early learning, and an ability to work, and thrive, in a team environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, perform motor skill activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, and work indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
