Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryNo nights, No weekends and a cleaning company every evening!!Town Country Early Learning Center is looking for teachers. Three new infant/toddler teachers would be responsible for 8 children 12-36 months old. Toddler classrooms are also staffed with an assistant teacher in each room. One new preschool teacher would be responsible for his/her/their own classroom of 10 children ages 3-5 years. Experience working in a NAEYC Accredited program is preferred. Applicants must be interested in supporting our mission to provide a nurturing, educational, and secure environment for young children.DutiesSupervises and educates 8-10 childrenWorks cooperatively with TC teaching teamMaintains Office of Early Childhood and NAEYC standardsProvides effective classroom managementCommunicates daily with parentsInteracts with children in a respectful, supportive mannerPlans and implements curriculum and classroom activitiesPrepares and conducts parent/teacher conferencesDemonstrates professionalism, dependability, and punctuality40 hour work week, 9am-6pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch breadRequirementsTeachers must hold an AS (BA/BS preferred) in ECE or a related field with at least 12 ECE creditsMust be 18 years or olderMust be fully vaccinated against covid-19Minimum of 2 years of early childhood experience.Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.A strong understanding of child development.Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels.
