Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryPay:$22.65-25.10/hour (based on education)Schedule:Full-time (40 hours/week), Full YearDutiesAs an Early Head Start Teacher, you'll create a nurturing environment for children ages 0-3 by:Designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculumProviding responsive primary care for infants and toddlersCreating safe, clean, and culturally responsive learning spacesEnsuring compliance with licensing requirements and Early Head Start StandardsSupporting each child's unique cultural background and learning stylePromoting social-emotional development and resilienceChallenging deficit-based narratives about children and familiesRequirementsEducation (one of the following):Infant Toddler Credential/CDAAssociate's degree in Early Childhood EducationBachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (with 18 ECE credits)BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceGenerous Paid Time Off Holidays403(b) Retirement with Employer Match (after 2 years)Company-Paid Life Insurance and Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountsPublic Service Loan Forgiveness Eligible EmployerAbout UsReach Dane provideshigh-quality early childhood services to over 1,000 underserved children ages 0-5 in Dane County through center based and home visitation programs. Our staff work tirelessly every day to reach the most vulnerable children and families in our community, and the need for our services is growing.The number of infants and toddlers experiencing homelessness enrolled in our programs has tripled over the last four years.Last year, Reach Dane served more homeless children than any other Head Start program in Wisconsin.
