Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition: Early Intervention Service CoordinatorRate: $55/hourRequirements:PA Teaching Certification in Special Education (required)Minimum of 5 years teaching experience (required)Preschool-age teaching experience (preferred)Current FBI fingerprints, PA Criminal, and Child Abuse background checksValid driver's licenseResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing and coordinating child and family linkages with infant/toddler programs upon entry to preschool and with school districts upon exit from preschool servicesAssisting children and families with resources and education regarding local services that may benefit the familyMonitoring EI program dataMaintaining documentation of compliance with mandates of IDEA and Chapter 14Coordinating all aspects of EI to meet the needs of each individual learner, providing the best care, safety, welfare, and security for studentsPhysical requirements:WalkingStandingStoopingLifting approximately 20 poundsOccasional lifting of equipment and materials weighing 40 pounds
