Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION DETAILSWe are looking for a certified Early Interventionist (EI) who will work as part of a team to create a solid foundation for ReNEW’s academic program. The Early Interventionist provides students with appropriate educational activities and experiences that will enable them to fulfill ReNEW Schools’ mission to provide a rigorous, college-preparatory education to historically underserved PK-8th grade students. This teacher will work in our Early Childhood Center or in our Community Program with children 3 to 5 years old.OUTCOMESEarly Interventionist (Preschool): Prepare 90% of students to be ready for the next grade level, as measured by early learning standards, Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and norm-referenced assessments.WHO WE AREAt ReNEW, we transform underperforming schools into academically rigorous schools that prepare students for the next level of achievement, including high school, college, and career. ReNEW is dedicated to helping teachers become outstanding at their craft. You will assume shared responsibility for all students’ success.Be flexible and innovative: As we are a turnaround organization, you will be flexible in ensuring the strategies you implement best meet students’ needs, and if not, adjust course.
