Job DescriptionJob DescriptionECE Paraeducator (HS/EHS) - 4 hrs/day (Preschool-Oakdale/PC#252833)Position Summary: Assists one or more Early Childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children, in classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds at a center dedicated to pre-kindergarten children, and in the community. Maintains and prepares classroom and related environments, materials, and control of forms. Assists in developing play-oriented curriculum.Please click here to view all TRUSD job descriptions in full detail.Application Deadline: 12/17/2025Work Year: 182 work days per yearEmployee Type: Part TimeSalary: $18.77 - $24.82 per hour in 9 annual steps.Location: Preschool OakdaleHours: 4 hours/day; 5 days/weekBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).Experience/Education:Requirements for ECE Paraeducator positions under the Federal Head Start Program; High School Diploma or equivalent and a California Associate Teacher Permit (Referred by Federal head Start as “Child Development Associate Credential”) or Associate Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required:May require a valid driver’s license. Certificate or permit required as defined in the ChildDevelopment Permit Matrix established through the California Department of Education.
