Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSpartan Industrial and Marine, a Singer Industrial company, one of America’s largest industrial distributors, has an opening for an eCommerce Data Manager. Singer Industrial is a decentralized group of value-added distributors in the industrial rubber products industry, with 17 platform companies that distribute and fabricate industrial and hydraulic hose, conveyor belt, and gaskets. We have over 50 locations across the U.S., serving diverse markets including petrochemical, oil and gas, food and beverage, OEM, marine, MRO, construction, and rental supply.We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage and organize product data for our eCommerce operations. This person will focus on compiling, standardizing, and preparing product data for publication on partner websites and company eCommerce platforms. They will also coordinate with contractors to scope and support the integration of the Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system into a standardized WooCommerce template used across the organization.This position emphasizes data management and coordination—not software development. The ideal candidate will excel at handling product information, spreadsheets, vendor data, and image organization to ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability across digital platforms.Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage and organize data within our Product Information Management (PIM) system to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with eCommerce requirements.Collect and compile product data and images from internal systems, suppliers, and vendors into consistent, consumable formats.Prepare and optimize product content for publication on eCommerce partner sites and company websites.Coordinate with external contractors and internal teams to define requirements for P21-to-WooCommerce integration—no programming required.Maintain data integrity across multiple sources, ensuring information is properly formatted and categorized for web publication.Support quality control of product data, including specifications, pricing accuracy, categorization, and image matching.Utilize spreadsheets and data tools to organize and transform data efficiently for syndication.Collaborate with marketing, IT, and vendor partners to improve the overall flow and presentation of product content online.Required Skills and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially when handling large data sets.Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and organization.Experience working with PIM systems and eCommerce data feeds.Familiarity with WooCommerce or other product-driven eCommerce platforms.Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Skills and AbilitiesFamiliarity with WordPress and WooCommerce integrations.Understanding basic data formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON.Experience collecting and organizing product images and specifications.Exposure to eCommerce operations, digital merchandising, or online catalog management.Education and ExperiencePreferred bachelor’s or associate degree in business, Information Systems, Marketing, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in eCommerce operations, data management, or digital catalog coordination.Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.#LI-KK1
