One CaliforniaJob Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs an ED Tech you will provide crucial support and direct patient care in the fast-paced Emergency Department ensuring efficient operations and compassionate assistance during critical moments.Every day you will expertly assist with patient admissions and discharges perform vital signs and basic medical procedures maintain a clean and organized environment and meticulously document observations to support the nursing staff and physician team.To be successful you will demonstrate outstanding adaptability strong communication skills and a calm proactive demeanor contributing significantly to timely patient care and a smooth-running ED.Consistently accurately & timely: transcribes physician orders. 100% accuracy is the goal.Correctly transcribes orders in EHR system and signs off orders per FHMC policyCorrectly transcribes orders during downtime procedures.Notifies appropriate staff of medication and treatment orders.Consistently accurately & timely: places patient stickers on patient charts faxes orders to pharmacy sends charts to medical records after discharge & adds chart forms as needed.Consistently accurately & timely: files chart forms duplicates medical records as needed orders supplies & initiates follow-through with maintenance requestsJob RequirementsSuccessful completion of Emergency Medical Technician program upon hireAcute care and clinical secretary experience.Completion of approved Unit Clerk class or equivalent upon hireBasic Life Support - CPR upon hire andCertified Nursing Assistant: CA upon hire orEmergency Medical Technician: CA upon hire orEmergency Medical Technician Paramedic: CA upon hireRequired Experience:IC Key Skills Anti Money Laundering,Marketing & Sales,Gas Turbine,CNC,Jpa Employment Type : Unclear Experience: years Vacancy: 1
