Part-Time School Social Worker Illinois JanuaryJune 2026A local Illinois district has partnered with Clarifi Staffing Solutions to bring on a dedicated School Social Worker for a part-time assignment through the second half of the school year. This opportunity is well-suited for a licensed professional who values meaningful student connections and prefers a reduced weekly schedule.From January 5 to June 3 the selected candidate will be on campus two days each week supporting students during the regular school day (8:30 a.m.3:30 p.m.). The social worker will play an important role in addressing social-emotional needs offering short-term counseling and working collaboratively with school staff and families to strengthen student engagement and overall well-being.Job Snapshot:Provide direct social work services to students.Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate.Offer individual and small-group social-emotional support.Assist with implementing behavioral interventions and strategies.Help students develop coping skills and strengthen social-emotional functioning.Collaborate with teachers administrators and families to support student success.Contribute to a positive inclusive school environment where all students feel supported.RequirementsSchool-based experience is highly desirable and will enhance a candidates suitability for the position. Applicants should have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
