Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with all federal state and local regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to EHS standards. Lead incident investigations determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees contractors and visitors. Oversee the development implementation and testing of emergency response plans. Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and communicate results to management and relevant stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in EHS performance and foster a strong safety culture throughout the facility. Recommended Qualifications 7 years of progressive EHS experience with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering Industrial Hygiene or a related scientific/technical field. Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager). In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and relevant state-specific EHS regulations and compliance requirements. Proven experience in developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001). Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a track record of fostering a proactive safety culture. Bonus Qualifications Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Demonstrated experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting. Expertise in process safety management (PSM) or advanced machinery guarding.
