Key Responsibilities Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs. Ensure compliance with all local state and federal EHS regulations and company standards. Conduct EHS risk assessments inspections and incident investigations implementing corrective actions. Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees. Oversee environmental compliance including waste management air emissions and water discharge permits. Lead emergency preparedness and response planning drills and crisis management. Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through metrics audits and best practices. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Engineering or a related scientific field. 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in relevant EHS regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA) and best practices. Proven experience developing implementing and managing EHS programs and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001). Strong leadership communication and training skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization. Professional EHS certification (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM) preferred. Bonus Qualifications Professional EHS certifications (e.g. CSP CIH CHMM). Experience integrating EHS initiatives with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Prior EHS management experience across multiple manufacturing sites. Demonstrated expertise in a specialized EHS area such as Process Safety Management (PSM) or advanced industrial hygiene.
