Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies. Develop implement and maintain EHS programs procedures and policies for manufacturing operations. Conduct EHS risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Lead incident investigations for accidents near misses and environmental excursions implementing corrective actions. Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees. Manage hazardous waste streams and ensure proper disposal and record-keeping. Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to identify non-compliance and areas for improvement. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering or a related science/engineering field 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge and practical application of OSHA EPA and DOT regulations Professional certification such as CSP CIH or CHMM Experience developing implementing and managing EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001) Bonus Qualifications Lean or Six Sigma certification/experience in process improvement. Experience with sustainability initiatives ESG reporting or carbon footprint reduction programs. Proficiency with advanced EHS management software platforms (e.g. Intelex Cority Sphera). Previous experience managing EHS across multiple manufacturing sites or in a global context.
