Your work will have a direct positive impact on our employees and operations!A day in the Life:Conduct workplace hazard assessments and develop plans to control or eliminate hazardsLead development and help implement industrial hygiene programs including air monitoring noise monitoring and chemical exposure assessmentsProvide training and education to employees on health and safety issues and conduct regular safety auditsCollaborate with other departments such as engineering and maintenance to implement solutions to health and safety issuesActs as site IH subject-matter expert; designs mitigation strategiesInterpret and apply federal and state regulations related to health and safety acting as regulatory liaisonAssist in collaborating with leadership to maintain high standardsKeys to Success:Demonstrated some history in industrial hygieneStrong collaborative skillsAmbitious and diligent approachEducationBachelors degree in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Health and Safety or related field or equivalent experience required.ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in industrial hygiene activitiesPharmaceutical IH experience preferredKnowledge Skills AbilitiesStrong understanding of safety regulationsExcellent communication and analytical skillsAbility to implement and monitor safety protocols closelyProficiency in using industrial hygiene monitoring equipmentPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThis role involves regular site inspections requiring both office and fieldwork.
