ABB Production Supervisor

This position reports to:

Production Supervisor

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  1. Conducting all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
  2. Reading and interpreting the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
  3. Performing work manually or by using light hand tools.
  4. Will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor
  5. Carrying out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
  6. Operating within standard operating procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications for the role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge and use of tools tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
