Job Description

PrideStaff is hiring for a Electrical Assembler

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical panels, control systems, and machine wiring according to schematics and layout drawings. This role supports production by ensuring accurate electrical assembly, proper labeling, testing, and compliance with company quality and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
1. Assemble electrical panels, control boxes, and machine wiring per schematics and layout drawings.
2. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOM).
3. Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, routing, and termination.
4. Install electrical components including relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, PLCs, sensors, and power supplies.
5. Label wires and components accurately and clearly.
6. Conduct basic continuity and functionality testing.
7. Troubleshoot minor wiring or connection issues.
8. Maintain clean and safe work environment.
9. Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
10. Escalate electrical or technical concerns to supervisor as needed.

OTHER DUTIES:
1. Other duties and projects as assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
1. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
2. Experience with panel wiring and electrical component installation.
3. Familiarity with basic electrical testing tools.
4. Strong attention to detail and organization.
5. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
6. Ability to collaborate with engineering and mechanical assembly teams.
7. Must have good communication skills.
8. Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to perform job duties safely and effectively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to work in manufacturing environment including exposure to noise and machinery.
2. Must be able to lift 20–50 pounds.
3. Job requires standing for extended periods of time with bending, stooping, and kneeling.
4. Must be able to use hand tools and perform repetitive motions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior mechanical assembly experience preferred.
3. Experience in industrial or manufacturing environment preferred.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior electrical assembly experience preferred.
3. Experience working with control panels or industrial equipment preferred.
4. Familiarity with pneumatic systems, motors, and mechanical drive components preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Part-time schedule as assigned to Full time.
2. Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.

1. Manufacturing environment.
2. Mechanical and electrical assembly.
3. Warehouse setting.
