Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a full-time electrical engineer or electrical designer with at least 3 years of experience to support the growth and expansion of our business. The position would start as a "electricalengineer/designer" and potentially progress over time to "project manager” or “project engineer."Key Responsibilities• Position will involve electrical design for commercial, office, retail, healthcare, and other project types.• Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipmentspecifications and selections.• Preparation of schematics for various systems.• Collaboration with all disciplines to achieve completed coordinated design and reviewing the work ofothers.• Performance of on-site investigation to confirm existing conditions.• Developing familiarity with current electrical codes and standards.• Forming relationships with equal level personnel of other disciplines (architectural, electrical,structural civil, etc.) and manufacturing sales representatives.• Becoming familiar with and preparing general and electrical specifications.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.• Familiarity with system specific materials, components, and systems.• Basic knowledge of high mathematics relative to the work.• Oral and written communications skills.• Analytical ability to solve complex problems.• Working ability/knowledge of AutoCad.• Working ability/knowledge of REVIT is not required, but desired.Benefits• 401(k) with Safe Harbor contribution of 3% of salary• Full coverage of Health insurance in Medical Mutual SuperMed PPO Network• Paid time off including vacations and holidays.
