Top reasons to work for my client:Our client is in business for more than 160 years and has $3Billion in revenue and 8000 employees worldwide.They have manufacturing operations in North America Europe and AsiaThree business units: Insulation Systems Roofing Systems and Engineered ProductsThey encourages employees their family members and friends to get involved in charity/volunteer projects that make a differenceYou can discover new opportunities and rewarding experiences through personalized developmentAutonomy in the workplaceIf this sounds interesting lets talk!Job Type : Full TimeLocation : Spartanburg South CarolinaPay : Great PayJob DescriptionWhat you will be doing:Lead and perform electrical engineering for all aspects of projects with limited guidance.Assist with design integration installation and support of manufacturing equipment control systems and data acquisition systems.Modify electrical control circuits and PLC/HMI programs.Work with the maintenance team in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment control systems and data acquisition breakdowns.Partner with Health Safety and Environmental team to ensure compliance with standards practices and policies for pollution control.Determine root cause failure analysis and development of corrective action plans.Prepare and review technical electrical specifications for equipment and processes.Assist facility with manufacturing operations as well as the execution of electrical safety initiatives.Develop preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.Apply Six Sigma SPC Lean 5S and TPM applications.Ensure compliance with all safety/environmental standards and promote safe work practices.Respond to maintenance issues with equipment and control systems in support of a 24/7 operation.Experience you will need:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in polymer science or textile manufacturing is a plus.Practical experience in Allen-Bradley AC variable speed drives.Experience in maintenance operation troubleshooting and repair of PLC systems.Solid knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications (including programming) along with communications within enterprise and control networked systems.Experience with industrial database systems (WonderWare).Experience in Siemens variable speed drives / European control schemes is a plus.Knowledge of Siemens PLCs.Experience in VMWare.Knowledge of servers and thin client technology.Demonstrated ability to provide solutions to basic project and process engineering problems.Six Sigma certification is a plus.Solid analytical ability to determine and develop solutions to moderately complex problems.Demonstrated knowledge in the application of the NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace arc flash energy and shock hazards.Demonstrated capabilities in working collaboratively with internal and external engineering resources.Demonstrated experience in the engineering and implementation of 480V (Switchgear Power Distribution Panel Motor Control Center) and 4160V Power Distribution Systems.Experience in electrical power distribution equipment protection and sizing.Proficient in computer applications and analysis of process data.CAD (AutoCAD) experience and ability to read and interpret electrical and control drawings.Ability to visually inspect and troubleshoot electrical/process control systems.Ability to be physically mobile throughout the Spunbond Process (stairs heat noise).Ability to safely lift material weights up to 50 pounds.Ability to travel periodically domestically and internationally.Ability to work extended hours as necessary to complete work assignments.Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
