Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe company is currently seeking a Controls Engineer/Technician experienced in designing, documenting and commissioning electrical control systems.  The position requires the candidate to support the various stages of production from concept to commissioning. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical controls for conveyor systemsDevelop bill of materials lists and manage the procurement of componentsProgram and troubleshoot PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD’s and Safety MonitorsGenerate CAD based schematics, installation drawings and packetsField installation commissioning and troubleshootingTrain operators of the installed systemsCustomer service support of existing systemsLight mechanical workQualificationsEE/EET degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceProven experience with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and HMI’sProven experience with ASi and Ethernet networksProven experience with variable speed drivesWorking knowledge of AutoCad, MSExcel and MSWordGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and problem solving skillsWilling to travel a minimum of 50%U.S. citizenValid driver’s licenseAbility to lift 50lbsCompany DescriptionSeeMotion, LLC manufactures material handling equipment used primarily in the corrugated paper industry.
