Youll also assist in planning budgeting and compliance initiatives- helping us uphold the highest standards of safety reliability and regulatory excellence.If youre a proactive problem-solver with a passion for precision and collaboration this is your chance to create a significant impact in a vital industry!What you will do:High Voltage work with the installation maintenance and repair or electrical systems operatingMaintains electrical systems and equipment (such as switchgear motors generators pumps and fans).Maintains DC electrical systems and equipment (such as batteries chargers rectifiers and inverters).Maintains station and unit level electrical control systems and their components (such as PLCs HMIs and control networks).Maintains station and unit level electrical control system end devices (such as motor controls pressure transmitters pressure switches temperature sensors limit switches solenoids and actuators).Maintains safety systems and their components (such as ESD panels gas detectors flame detectors and manual activation switches).On occasion can advise other qualified employees in the performance of routine electrical controls-related activities.Assists in planning work and giving budget related information as required consistent with the annual budgeting process.Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies such as the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through adherence to NFPA 70 National Electrical Code (NEC) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.Who you are:You have:2 years of directly related experience or relevant training along with a High School DiplomaYou can:Show a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record that will be verified upon hireYou are:Dedicated to learning and advancing as an Electrical Controls TechnicianThe following are considered assets:Working knowledge of operations used in the maintenance of these facilitiesPay Range$34/hr.- 47/hr. depending on experienceBenefits for EmployeesPPO & HSO plans (only HSA if participate in the HSO)12 US Paid Holidays Paid Time OffMilitary Leave (provides up to two years of paid leave with benefit continuation)Benefits coverage starts on Day 1Savings401k match 6% match immediate vestingPensionRegular full-time and part-time employees can participate in the plan immediately upon hireCash Balance Pension plan Enbridge makes the contributions (not vested until after 3 years)The plan is fully paid for by Enbridge with no employee contributionsPay credits are between 4% and 11% of eligible earnings based on age and servicePhysical Requirements include but are not limited to:Grasping kneeling light moderate lifting (objects up to 40 pounds) reaching above shoulder repetitive motion typing sitting standing visual requirement (able to see screens detect color coding read fine print) hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:Ability to: understand remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines complete routine forms compose letters outlines memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.Company paid international relocation assistance is not offered for this role.#topemployerAt Enbridge we are dedicated to our core value of are proud to bean Equal Opportunity Employer.
