Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Title: Project EngineerJob DescriptionThe role involves performing project and on-site engineering services, including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting on revenue-generating projects. The position also encompasses project management responsibilities across multiple projects.ResponsibilitiesManage project quotations, specifications, and plans, ensuring timely execution and profitability.Allocate and manage resources, specify and procure materials, and maintain project documentation.Schedule and execute projects to ensure on-time performance.Provide independent factory and field troubleshooting and training for control panels in at least one target market.Support control panel products and offer secondary technical support to customers, field engineers, and sales channels.Assist in configuration, operation, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of specific Eurotherm products and applications.Offer instrument and system-level software and communications support to customers.Diagnose and troubleshoot customer applications both remotely and on-site.Act as an escalation point for Technical Support personnel.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering.5 years of experience with industrial control support.High Voltage Experience.Familiarity with UL508A and NEC electrical standards.Experience with control panel design and integration.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of hazardous area requirements.Training in mechanical engineering and basics of electronics and control theory.Work EnvironmentThe position offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days on-site and 2 days remote. You will be part of a team engineering systems comprising a range of products in diverse industries such as Heat Treat, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Plastics, and Water. This role involves extensive mechanical and electrical design of control panels and collaboration with a global clientele.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
