Job DescriptionBasic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:We are looking for engineers interested in power amplifier or power supply systems as well as sensor and systems that support the SONAR and other capabilities onboard all current and future U.S. Navy submarine classes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:As an Electrical Engineer, you'll participate in electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis and performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.) for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. You'll make an impact throughout the electrical development life cycle by supporting our technical engineering products with your sound knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and principles.What you'll experience:Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often classified.A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discoveredDesign, simulate and implement analog and digital circuits, cables, and interconnectsPerform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutionsGenerate design and interface documentationIntegrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electrical hardwareAssist with the development of hardware and firmware for embedded systemsPerform obsolescence and EOL analysis on existing designs, replace components, and implement redesignsDocument and present trade studies, analyses, test results, and status to the teamWhat sets you apart: Clear understanding of electrical engineering processes. Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled. Combined Salary RangeUSD $100,000.00 - USD $107,500.00 /Yr.
