You will deliver complete, accurate cost estimates for industrial and commercial plan/spec and design-build projects. Work independently, support project managers, and ensure bids align with market conditions and industry standards.What We OfferCompetitive base pay: $60,000–$130,000 salary rangeLong-term employment with comprehensive benefitsProfessional growth and training opportunitiesTeam-oriented culture that values relationshipsOn-site role with occasional local jobsite visitsKey Responsibilities – Experienced Electrical EstimatorPrepare detailed electrical takeoffs and cost breakdowns for plan/spec and design-build workAnalyze blueprints, specs, and addenda; draft and refine scope lettersVlidate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing; manage bid RFIsCoordinate with project managers to align estimates with execution plans and risk profileMaintain estimating databases and assumptions; track market pricing and lead timesQualifications – Experienced Electrical Estimator5+ years electrical estimating experience including design-buildProficient with estimating software; Accubid/Anywhere preferredStrong NEC code proficiency (2020 and prior) and engineering best practicesSkilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; blueprint and spec interpretationTeam-oriented, self-directed, reliable problem solver (ESFI)Physical Requirements – Experienced Electrical EstimatorProlonged computer work; frequent sittingOccasional standing and walking during site visitsLift/carry up to 25 lbs of drawings or samplesOn-site office environment with periodic construction site exposureOccasional local travel to jobsites
