The Estimator is responsible for preparing and completing bid documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects. The Estimator controls the construction costs by collecting and studying information, evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensuring they know what is required to successfully bid and win the project.Responsibilities:Quote and manage installation and repair of electric systemsReview blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work proceduresPrepare written work cost estimates for clientsAdhere to safety policies and proceduresBuild and maintain relationships with customers and vendorsObtain multiple pricing quotes for ordering shop stock inventoryQualifications:Experience and knowledge of National Electric CodeKnowledge of Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, and general estimating softwareAbility to read blueprints and schematicsStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills with ability to innovateExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be organizedMust be collaborative and team orientedAbility to combine administrative skill with the technical knowledge of electrical maintenance to provide maximum job efficiency in the office and job siteFlexibility to prioritize based on changing needs and requirementsJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Estimating: 2 years (Preferred)Electrical: 5 years (Preferred)Powered by JazzHRW46Up8qs6D
